The port of Zeebrugge is served by the 'Navy of the Bruges Seaport' (MBZ) and is also referred to as the port authority. The MBZ is an autonomous public-law public company with the City of Bruges as the main shareholder. The company was founded in 1895 and has since been in charge of the technical, nautical and commercial aspects of port management. The port is hereby built in a sustainable way, focusing on a balanced relationship between human, environmental and prosperity.
The port of Zeebrugge wanted a modern website that enabled them to distinguish themselves from the competition. The biggest challenge when making this project was not only to show the very large amount of information clearly but also to put it in a nice jacket.
We created the site in the latest version of the CMS system Drupal 8, in collaboration with our D-artagnan partner. In addition to the large amount of pages, the site also includes automated imports for the terminals and port companies page. The site is also multilingual.
